In order to effectively care for your skin, it is key to thoroughly remove all of them. The usage of a cleansing balm or a cleansing oil is the first step of the much praised double cleansing procedure. As oil binds other oils, it is the most effective way to remove oil-based impurities such as makeup, sebum and SPF. Afterwards, a water-based cleanser removes the remaining water-soluble impurities.

I have oily skin. Can I still use this balm?

Oil-based cleansers are definitely beneficial for oily skin as well! If you have oily skin, it produces more oil-based impurities and oil cleansers are the best way to clear those out. The Calm Balm has been developed and dermatologically tested and approved for all skin types, including oily and combination skin, so you should give it a try!

Will The Calm Balm also remove waterproof mascara?

Yes! Make sure to massage it thoroughly onto your lashes and emulsify it with water.
